            Our client seeks the expertise of a Head of Compliance for its expanding business. It is an AIM listed alternative finance business which has operations in UK, Ireland, Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Gibraltar.             Responsibilities:\n
            \n
            The Head of Compliance will be required to deliver a pro-active compliance strategy in an ever changing legislative and regulatory arena. The role will include taking responsibility for the CF10, CF11 and CF10a functions for the UK regulated business, and to support the other UK businesses in maintaining the same high standards of conduct. Furthermore, the role will require the individual to support the Group in ensuring compliance matters are harmonised where possible.\n

            The role will include, among other responsibilities:\n

                Contribute to how the business effectively manages its regulatory duties with the Financial Conduct Authority, including relevant statutory reporting and maintaining a relationship with the FCA, ICO and other supervisory authorities;\n
            \n
              * \n
            \n
                Oversight of all Anti-Money Laundering requirements (including CDD/KYC) ensuring the business remains compliant; to provide support with the review of AML procedures; keep updated with changes in the AML requirements and provide appropriate training to employees;\n
            \n
              * \n
            \n
                Maintain and continuing development of the Compliance Monitoring Plan for the UK businesses to ensure the businesses are observing the policies and procedures; provide appropriate compliance reports and management information for Board meetings and Compliance Committee meeting;\n

                Accountable for maintaining, reviewing and creating policies and procedures that are in line with the regulatory and legislative requirements and the needs of the business;\n
            \n
              * \n
            \n
                Provide support and advice on contractual terms across all aspects of the business;\n
            \n
              * \n
            \n
                Effectively engage with employees to cultivate and maintain a compliance culture and to deliver appropriate learning and development initiatives in line with regulatory and legislative expectations;\n

                Maintain effective forward scanning of the regulatory and legislative arena, to ensure the business is prepared for any changes;\n
            \n
              * \n
            \n
                Oversight of the CASS requirements to ensure the processes remain compliant and appropriate regulatory CASS reporting as required;\n

                Provide support to the UK business across a wide range of projects; and\n
            \n

            \n
                Represent the business with the trade association (UKCFA).\n

            Skills and experience:\n
            \n
              * \n
            \n
                Previous compliance experience within a regulated financial services organisation;\n
            \n
              * \n
            \n
                Technical knowledge of the requirements of the FCA and how these affect the business, including a strong understanding of the FCA handbook, conduct risk and culture;\n
            \n

                Experience in regulatory reporting and notifications, engaging with the FCA and other supervisory authorities;\n

            \n
                Experience in building effective relationships with stakeholders, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills;\n
