I am currently recruiting for one of the UK's largest independent insurance groups who have recently opened up their flagship office in the heart of Norwich's busy city centre. My client is seeking professional, ambitious and polite, Customer Service orientated individuals to join their growing Norwich team where the opportunity to progress in your career is excellent.
This role is based in a customer facing branch, as such it involves handling insurance queries with clients face to face or over the telephone as well as web inquiries.
The role is a permanent position that is available full time.
Contracted hours of work are Monday to Friday 8:30 to 17:30 and Saturday 8:30 to 12:30.
You will receive 22 days holiday per annum (initially, this will increase with length of service).
Please note you will receive full training and the opportunity to take the Certificate in Insurance (CII).
General Candidate Requirements
A background in Insurance is desirable but not essential, my client will look at applications from clients with suitable and transferable skill sets such as those from a strong customer service background e.g. retail and/or banking.
You will need to be able to demonstrate strong communication skills.
You will need to feel comfortable in a sales orientated environment that can be fast paced.
You will be a self-starter, motivated and driven in all that you do.
You will need to be confident in dealing with clients both face to face and via the telephone.
You will ideally have a good level of education e.g. a minimum of four GCSE's including English & Math's, C grade and above.
As part of clients ethos, being presentable at all times is key, you will be required to adhere to their office dress code which includes a dark suit and white shirt and tie, black shoes. For women the female equivalent with an option of dark skirt or trousers with black shoes
